We’re thrilled to share that Oxford Risk has been named a Make More Happen Award winner by Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance! This national recognition honors independent insurance agencies making meaningful contributions in their communities.
As part of the award, a $5,000 donation was made to our nonprofit partner, Caring for Kids, Inc. (CFK). Thanks to the incredible support of our community—who helped us surpass 500 votes—we unlocked the full $10,000 donation, doubling the impact!
The funds will support CFK’s life-changing programs, including:
- University tuition and vocational training through the Fostering Futures Fund
- Birth-parent and foster care services
- Behavioral-health support for youth across all stages
Our campaign, “Brightening Futures for Foster Youth,” captured the attention and compassion of the community, earning over 1,000 votes. Every vote helped secure critical support for CFK’s mission.
Caring for Kids offers services from birth-parent support through adoption to behavioral-health care. With their new facility and expanded behavioral-health wing, they’re more equipped than ever to serve families and youth in need. This funding will help young adults aging out of foster care pursue education, training, and brighter futures.
At Oxford Risk, we’re especially proud that our president also serves as the board president at CFK. We’re grateful to our community for rallying behind this cause and to Liberty Mutual and Safeco for honoring agencies committed to giving back.
